Propylene Glycol is the chemical used to create the visual smoke seen when vaping an electronic cigarette. The Propylene Glocol (PG) is added to the liquid nicotine, water, and flavorings used while making e juice. Some people are allergic to PG and if they are using e cigs will find that they must make the shift to Vegetable Glycerin (VG) as a substitute in their e juice. In some cases, people with severe PG allergies may find the vapor from e cigs irritating (rare).
